- You may want to try actually an older firmware. Later Couriers seems
- to have quite a different behaviour in leased line mode.

- In my case, I had a different problem. I was using Couriers to connect
- with Sportsers in leased line mode. Obviouslly, the Sportser end needed
- human or computer interaction to go offhook. But the connection and
- negotation never had any problem until I upgraded the firmware. They
- now can't estabish carrier at all, very similarly as the behaviour you
- describe. Puting the old firmware back restored everything to normal.
